Project Goal:
Men and women who have escaped trafficking have been successfully reintegrated
in their community and are leading a dignified life.
Objectives:
- Ensure sustainable income, health, and well-being for survivors, enabling dignified lives.
- Provide comprehensive, personalized, evidence-based services for successful reintegration.
- Strengthening accountability and multisector linkages of service providers through effective
advocacy.
Major Activities:
- Survivors’ identification, enrollment, and support with personalized case management.
- Providing emotional and mental health support through psychosocial counseling.
- Partnering by Agrogoti Sangstha with MILVIK Bangladesh Limited to provide six-month
health and life insurance to 50 survivors under the project. - Providing 45 days long mentor-mentee training to develop skills and build professional
confidence. - Providing emergency aid to the survivors with critical health issues and affected survivors by
cyclone.
Outputs:
- 248 survivors achieved mental stability after completing the 5th psychosocial counseling session
- 155 survivors completed a ten-day EDT for existing or new business ventures.
- 170 survivors participated in life skills training.
- 223 survivors participated, with 27 earning over BDT 6,000 and others between BDT 2,000-6,000.
- MOUs were signed with the Department of Women Affairs, DEMO Satkhira, Nakshi Group, and Kaliganj Driving School.
- 700 beneficiaries where 65% are women.
