Objectives of the Project:
To reduce human trafficking among climate-vulnerable farming and fishing households in Bangladesh, the project focuses on:
- Integrating climate change and human trafficking into national and local policies.
- Enhancing household access to information and support for proactive planning.
- Conducting targeted research to address the climate change-human trafficking nexus.
Major activities of the project:
- Building district authorities’ capacity to harmonize climate change and human trafficking
considerations. - Demonstrating climate-smart agriculture practices and technology to crop and aquaculture
farmers. - Financial literacy and business development training.
Beneficiaries: Agriculture and aquaculture farmers in 94 groups from 1865 households where 7901
participants directly involve with the project.
