Objectives of the Project:
- Building climate-resilient and environmentally sustainable livelihoods for the extreme poor
and climate change-affected people in southern Bangladesh - Strengthening the local civil society to protect and promote the rights of marginalized
communities
Major activities of the project:
- Arrange training for the climate affected people (1600), animal health workers, vocational
training etc. - Productive Asset Transfer to 1600 HHs
- Capacity building, arrange dialogue between CSO and State actors.
- Arrange public events and awareness programs in schools, made them aware of their rights
from local/public service providers etc.
Beneficiaries: 1600 Beneficiaries from 1600 HHs and all of them are women.
Achievement:
- Trained 1600 participants on Climate Resilient Farming (CRF).
- Asset transferred to 1600 HHs.
- 1600 HHs are cultivating homestead vegetables in CRF model.
- Participants are now aware of their children, education, nutrition etc.
